How did you get into the modeling industry and was this always a dream of yours?
I’ve been getting scouted since I was a kid. New York airports to malls in Arizona. My mom always said no & then finally when I was 16 she thought I was old enough to try it out. So I signed with a local agency where I’m from in Arizona. Who then signed me with Wilhelmina NY & LA. So once I graduated high school I moved away & got started in my career. It wasn’t a dream of mine actually. My dream job as a kid was to be an astronaut lol but genetics said otherwise.
Let’s talk fashion…You always look amazing in your outfits and know what works well for your body type. What advice do
you give to women on dressing for their shape?
Thank you so much! I think no matter your height or body shape you should wear whatever makes you feel confident and sexy!
How do you handle a situation where a photographer does not properly direct you?
I normally will just say I’m not understanding can you give me an example and will try my best. Or I can make a modification of their vision to make it feel more organic and natural to myself and the shoot.
What advice would you give to the younger generation who want to pursue a modeling career?
Don’t start too young. This job makes you grow up fast. So enjoy your youth, go to school and then when the time is right go for it. Stay true to yourself & don’t take shit from anyone.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Chandler, Arizona. About 30 minutes outside of Phoenix. 120-degree desert summers baby!
