Spiritbox has been on a meteoric rise, cementing their status as one of the most dynamic forces in heavy music. Fresh off opening a stadium tour with legends Korn and Gojira, the band is riding high with their Grammy nomination for Best Heavy Metal Performance — making frontwoman Courtney LaPlante the only woman-fronted act to be nominated in the category. Spiritbox is also keeping fans captivated with their eventful schedule. From collaborating with Megan Thee Stallion on her hit single “TYG” and a successful remix of “Cobra” to announcing their new album Tsunami Sea set for a March 7th, the band is proving they can bridge metal, hip-hop, and pop with ease. Below we got to take a look into Courtney’s BTS Grammy diary.

- I always have to wear a special perfume for moments like this to get me in the zone, but for this show, I wore the one that makes me feel the most like me my combo of oil and two perfumes!
Somehow we all were ready relatively on time! It’s funny because I felt so hot in this outfit, but I think I look a little uncomfortable in these photos because I can’t really touch my skin to the latex, it will get glitter all over the latex…. Everyone also felt they had to stand far away from me to not step on my train or get the latex goop on them….. I say next time we just roll with it, let’s get glitter everywhere. Who cares? I want a hug!

- Walking in latex like this feels like when you have those exercise bands on your leg at the gym, it was a workout!
